Steven Lang & David Yorke paintings are featured in a new Ken Burns Movie "The American Buffalo."

Paintings by western artists Steven Lang and David Yorke are featured in the new Ken Burns movie "The American Buffalo," which premiers on PBS stations on October 16th and 17th, 2023.  This two-part movie follows the history of the American buffalo, and gives credit to the people who helped to save them from near-extinction. 

"The Buffalo Hunters" Oil by Steven Lang, 30" x 48" (shown in the movie) is available at The Plainsmen Gallery. 

"Dark Day on the Plains" Oil by David Yorke, (show in the movie) has been sold. It is now part of the permanent collection at the James Museum in St. Petersburg, FL.

 

"Trail of the Iron Horse" Oil by David Yorke, 30" x 20"  (Inspired by "Dark Day on the Plains)  is available at The Plainsmen Gallery. It is featured in the Fall Harvest Art Show.

The Plainsmen Gallery releases a painting and NFT by nationally collected artist Steven Lang!

The Plainsmen Gallery to release digital artwork and NFT by nationally collected artist Steven Lang!

“Opening the Medicine Bundle” is a beautiful 12” x 16” oil on canvas by nationally known artist Steven Lang.  An enhanced digital version of this painting will be registered on the blockchain as an NFT.  The NFT can then be held as a collectible or resold by the legally registered owner.

The traditional painting and the digital art will be sold through the Plainsmen Gallery in Florida.
