Internationally collected artist David Yorke has added three new paintings to the Plainsmen Gallery's upcoming "Wildlife & Western Visions" Art Show.
David Yorke’s new paintings “Apache Defiance,” "Warrior of the Plains" and "The Whisper of Wings" will be featured in the “Wildlife & Western Visions Art Show at The Plainsmen Gallery in Dunedin, FL. This annual show includes original paintings, bronzes and giclee prints by over 20 nationally recognized artists. The show opens on April 24, and the Artist Reception is on Saturday, May 1st.
“Apache Defiance” Oil, 36 x 20
As the artist describes, “This beautiful painting depicts a Chiricahua Apache Brave protecting his people, with the last light of the day to survey his surroundings.”
"The Whisper of Wings" Oil, 12" x 9"
The Native American woman depicted in “The Whisper of Wings” is a member of the Sioux Tribe. She holds a fan made of feathers and her hair is adorned with hawk feathers.
