Oreland Joe Artwork
The son of a southern Ute father and a Navajo mother, Oreland Joe grew up in a family that understood and inspired his creativity and talents. Growing up on the Navajo reservation not only taught him Native American traditions and customs, but also provided him with a spiritual awareness. Oreland was later greatly influenced by his trips to France and Italy. His exposure to European art and culture were transforming. Oreland won the Prix de West Purchase Award in 2006, and he has won numerous prestigious awards since then.
The Plainsmen Gallery is proud to represent the artwork of Oreland Joe. For more information about interest-free time payments, call 727-734-8200 or email art@plainsmen.com.
